What Grandma Would've Said is particularly remarkable for its fully intact guestbook. Many GeoCities guestbooks were hosted through third-party services and therefore their contents can no longer be viewed. Ross set up his own guestbook, and it is still preserved on his website.
The entries reveal that quite a wide range of people came across his website and enjoyed reading the Grandma stories. A lot of these people share his last name, Helton, and discovered him when they went online (some of them for the first time ever) to search for unknown relatives.
